Best Western Oak Meadows Inn

It was decorated for Halloween everywhere & that was just adorable. The young lady at check in was very cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Surprisingly quiet & very convenient

No towels in the pool area. Had to go back to room to get . No elevator.

Location was great for visiting Halloweentown. Size of the room was great for our family. My kids loved the pool.

Pool wasn’t open on time and we always had to ask for pool towels as they weren’t stocked.

Rooms were spacious and clean

The evening staff on arrival didn’t seem to have a clue and passed us keys but have no other information. We had to ask where our room was, how to get to it and what the WiFi details were. There was no hot water for us to shower in either room and when we informed them they couldn’t offer any resolution and it was like pulling teeth to get any form of answer as to how it would be solved. Long story short he ‘wrote it down’ but knew there was an issue and nonchalantly stated they knew some rooms had this issue recently and thought it could be due to being busy. This wasn’t what we needed to hear after a long journey and late night arrival. When I asked about a manager I was told she was on holiday. I then asked who was responsible and was told the area manager may be available the next day. Very difficult to communicate. Day staff were better and more helpful/ friendly but it appeared to be ran at night my young staff who didn’t have the experience or knowledge needed.

LOVED the ladies at the front desk. They were very friendly, helpful and kind. Check in and parking was easy. The grandkids loved the pool. It was close to Spirit of Halloweentown.

Needed more room in the breakfast room. We had no place to sit. Though it was Spirit of Halloweentown weekend, it was super busy. One of the two rooms we stayed in had a huge red stain on the carpet and a crusty handprint on the headboard. ICK!! Both bathrooms need updating and better cleaning. Water was not very hot. Showers were lukewarm. The price was high because it was Spirit of Halloweentown weekend. I wouldn't normally pay that much for a Best Western.
