Motel 6-Everett, WA - South

Bed was comfy. I didn’t see any mold or bugs. The guest service people were nice.

The door had a crack under it so we stuffed towels under that to keep the draft out. The bathroom light was struggling to turn on. Under the bed and the rest of the floor needed a good sweep and mop. The bed was a little busted at the seems. The room smelled like weed. When I tried to call the motel when I was away, I couldn’t get through. I didn’t like the check in machine but the guy I talked to was nice. The smoke detector kept blinking red but I was too tired to care.

I liked the friendliness of the staff while still maintaining professionalism and privacy. I liked that as long as you weren’t causing problems and kept to yourself, paid your room & were respectful about others also at the motel, then you were given respect and privacy back. There was a nice atmosphere that I appreciated. The staff can be understanding toward the unexpected financial situation (for example, my debit card broke in half one day before re-check-in & they allowed me some extra time to figure out a different payment route) & I appreciated that they had taken into consultation that I had shown myself to be a reliable guest & were therefore willing to work with me that morning. Obviously that’s not a guarantee, I’m just trying to explain a way that the staff has demonstrated their empathy, humanity & reasonableness rather than judgment.

I don’t have any negative thoughts about the property except for the too-high prices.

Hardly the hotel's fault, but the neighborhood is in steep decline. Lots of shady goings on I requested and was advised by email, I would have a ground floor room, as I was traveling by motorcycle. The front desk told me none were available at check in.
