Victoria at the front desk was the highlight of the entire stay. She was super friendly and charismatic. She informed our group of some of the best attractions in Raleigh and kept checking in to make sure everything was going well.
The water pressure was amazing but if you did not point the shower head at the wall then water was getting all over the floor.
Our room and towels smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke even though it’s a nonsmoking hotel. I was glad we did bring our own towels too as the weather called for rain so we used those mostly. We also brought a small air purifier which helped with some of the smell in the air.
Keurig was not clean either. I cleaned it myself and then it didn’t work well which was probably for the best.
The neighborhood was the worst. Prostitutes, homeless, high crime, constant sirens, dirty. We were there as part of a stay to play for a softball tournament so shame on the tournament directors for choosing this as a place for families.
