Hotel is centrally located around restaurants and stores and about 20 minutes away from LSU campus.
The hotel is old and can use some upgrading. AC in room shook and made a noise every time it came on and the beds made a noise every-time you moved in it. Sounded like a dump truck putting a dumpster down. Towels/washcloths were rough and felt like loofas. The phones are old bc a red light flashed as if a message was left like back in the day. I called front desk to confirm and was told they just do that and there was no message. The rooms were very over priced ($208 a night) and raised bc it was family weekend at LSU. Front desk staff was nice but housekeeping didnt speak english and tried to ask us questions but we didnt understand and they cane in our room even with sign on door handle. I would prefer stay elsewhere next time but of all else fails, you pay for what you get.
