Ocean view was spectacular, comfortable bed, clean. Located just off the highway but not too loud. Price good for being on the ocean, and not their fault it was too cold and windy to sit on our balcony, which looked pretty nice. Staff was very friendly checking us in.
No elevator. It was cold and very windy and we had to climb two long flights of stairs. I expected a little better hot breakfast but it was pretty much the usual chain hotel self-serve breakfast (runny but dry eggs, everything sitting out).

This was my 5th stay at Surfland and it felt nice to be back. The room was spacious and clean, and the complementary breakfast was good. Weather was a little foggy so I didn't get to enjoy the ocean view deck as much as I would have liked but fire pit in the courtyard sort of made up for it. The French press coffee in the room also tasted great.
All went well.
