The staff was nice but we wouldn’t stay there again

It had a pretty location

It was disappointing and not worth $100 more than all the other places we stayed

Great stay in a cosy cabin

Lovely clean and comfortable, cosy cabin . All staff were friendly and helpful . Restaurant and bar food delicious . Plus enjoyed complimentary breakfast

It was quite expensive considering the value received.

The room was large and clean.

We reserved a king room with a view of the Snake river, but that wasn't available. We were given a choice between a king room with no view or a queen room with view. We chose the king. Unfortunately, it was close to the highway, and the road noise was significant. They advertise their wonderful restaurant, but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday, the days that we stayed there. The other nearby restaurants were not very good.

Stayed at 4 places in Star Valley ... most expensive and our least fave

The grounds are pretty. We had a great view of where the river USED to be -- it's so low now you can't see it from the "view" patio. Lotta black birds.

The sheets had that corporate stiff chemical smell and feel. The bar/restaurant is only open for limited hours and you can't walk to anywhere else from there. I stopped by the bar to ask about the lobster soup and was told it was fantastic. I said I'd return in an hour -- when I came back, they said there was no more soup because they only had 2 orders left when I asked (! thanks for the info), and they are ordering less and less food to have on hand because it's not as busy or something. The place was practically empty and had a very old and dead vibe.
