Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach

Convenient, and right on the beach

I loved that it was located directly on the beach and pet friendly, that is very hard to find.

I didn’t like the fact that you can’t drink your own alcohol by the pool. That would probably be the reason that I never come back. I have stayed at many hotels and condos, and I have never had a bartender tell me that I can’t drink my own drink by the pool. It always just has to be not in a glass container. Also the way how the bartender relayed the message rubbed me the wrong way, but thankfully the next day a different bartender was working who was much more pleasant. Also, I didn’t like that I’ve read that the property had a indoor pool and it also had hot tubs, but there was in fact no indoor pool and no hot tubs. They only have the lazy river. I also think it’s crazy that they make you pay for parking. I understand the pet fee, but not paying for parking. To make up for this inconvenience, the least that they could do is provide free breakfast.

Great breakfast, nice staff

The mattress and needs comfortable chair to sit in

Noisy AC unit. Room was very “stuffy” and uncomfortable so was unable to turn AC fan to auto mode. Expected more space for my dog to foam since it was pet friendly. However Jordann at the front desk was AWESOME.
