My friend and I have been staying at the Gorham Motor Inn for decades. It is in a perfect location for what we need. When we were not happy with the first room they gave us, they graciously offered us a different room. No problem.
The Gorham Inn has always been satisfactory. But this year it was a little off. It wasn't as clean as it usually is. There wasn't any Kleenex in the room. They didn't offer a breakfast or brewed coffee in their office/welcome room. I don't like using the coffee maker that any motel offers. You never know what the previous occupant might have used it for. Yuck.

Pool outside if had been warmer we would have used it. Convince of being local.
Walked in something was on the rug. The bathroom was clean. The bathtub didn't work. The bed was hard as a rock no give whatsoever. You didn't even leave an indent when you sat on it.
