The location was great because it was close to where I needed to be. That said, the neighborhood is very 'inner-city' San Francisco and should not be considered for a "family" or "wholesome" environment. I've lived in the Bay Area previously and have been to The City many times so this was expected and almost welcoming to me.
Not every plug in the room worked and the television picture was straight out of the late '60s Haight so I just spiraled on youtube via my laptop.

The cleaning staff were friendly, the hotel abd rooms stayed clean! I used a sanitizer wipe to clean floors that seemed nasty, but were actually the cleanest I've ever been in!!!
One staff member (older white guy) seemed very rude about only having coffee from 6am-10am. Generally, the desk persons didn't mind us getting coffee if there was some left over, and most of the time, it was!

The room provides the basic however there is no mini fridge or microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable.
The location is not the best. Someone across the street died the first night I stayed. YOU DO NOT WANT TO LINGER OUTSIDE THE BUILDING. Wait for the ride you order a few blocks away. The area does not feel safe.
