Clean room. Bathroom walk in shower was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is typical but included. Traveling alone felt safe. The view of the River and Riverwalk was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful sunset !

Everything great except for carpets. When I arrived notice at check in said they needed access to all rooms for ac work and carpet cleaning. Should have made me aware when I was booking. Carpets were not clean. Even after they finished cleaning. Stains. They need to replace them.

At check in we were booked for 4 nights and we were given a room already occupied and then a room with a heavy chemical cleaner smell and black spots on the bathroom wall with hair stuck to it. The staff was amenable to moving us. We were given a 3rd room that had potato chips and raisins on the floor under furniture. We decided to stay since it was livable and we had been traveling all day. However on day two the cleaning staff knocked to come in our room since they had the room marked as unoccupied. At this point we finally felt unsafe because there is no safe, room keys are given to other guest that could walk into your room or cleaning staff thinking you’ve checked out and the back door leading to the pool did not latch fully so keyed entry doesn’t secure the door. We gave the front desk 24 hrs notice that we would be checking out 2 days early and we booked another hotel. Staff advised me to work through booking.com for the refund. I updated our reservation with BW through booking app but have yet to get acknowledgement on the reservation change. We checked out 2 days early and I got a check out invoice from BW on our original check out date for the full amount for 4 days. I’m still waiting for refund of 2 nights.
