The suite was actually an apartment of 600 square feet. The kitchen was a full kitchen, and the living room was quite large with comfortable furniture. The king size bed was huge, although it did sag a little on one side. We slept well and enjoyed being able to prepare breakfast for ourselves and heat up restaurant leftovers for lunch. We were within walking distance to various friends who live in the neighborhood, great restaurants, the coastal path, and events like local concerts and book readings. For three out of four days we didn't even use our car, which was safely parked by the hotel's free valet service.
The unit was spotlessly clean, so we requested to have maid service only twice during our stay. We also enjoyed the circular pool. Swimming laps in a never-ending circle was a unique experience!
We found nothing to complain about. The baby in the suite/apartment next door was a bit noisy, but we can't fault the hotel for that. I should mention that our booking would not be suitable for anyone with a disability or mobility issue as there are many steps to reach this unit. Luggage was carried for us by hotel staff, and although we are older folks, we were fit enough to climb the stairs multiple times each day. Some people might say that the decor in the rooms was old fashioned, but we would rather avoid hotels with a super slick design and a motherboard of electrical switches that we can't understand. So we felt very relaxed here.

East access to the restaurants.
The valet parking included in the stay is excellent.
I was not able to upgrade to a ocean side room a even though ahead of time I requested on booking.com and very much willing to pay for it. I know there was an available room because the concierge who helped us said that there was a room and she needed to double check with her manager. And she told me that the manager said “it is not worth it to upgrade for 1 night” I think because the upgrade was available on the 2nd day of our stay..but I was willing to pay for it for the experience 😔😩

Incredible location and the staff was exceptionally helpful and kind.
The rooms absolutely must be upgraded. For the amount we paid, we expected much higher quality from the carpets, the bed frame, the kitchenette, etc.
