The front desk person was exceptional at check-in. The room was clean. The lobby area looked great. The breakfast selection was good, and my daughter raved about the muffins.
Overall, the hotel needs some updating. While the lobby area appeared clean and cute, once you walked into the rest of the area where the rooms are located, it went downhill from there. The first set of elevators were not working, so that made a very long walk to the back of the hotel, and then back to our room, which was located towards the front of the hotel. There was some sort of leak coming from the ceiling in the first-floor hallway on the way to the elevators. While they had a trash can to catch the water, the next day the ceiling tiles had crumbled, and they were all over the floor. Inside the room, one of the desk chairs looked to have had a very large sweat stain on the entire chair, and it made it feel very unclean. Upon checking out, I asked the front desk person for a receipt, and I was informed that they did not provide a receipt and that I would need to get one from the 3rd party booking site that I used. Once on the site I used to book, I was informed that only the property could provide me with a receipt.
