Location was charming. Food was good but somewhat limited.
Little more food options.

Super clean, smelled great. The breakfast in the morning was great, staff was super helpful
The room was a smidge small but apparently was converted from a hospital. It was beautiful though

The appeal of the main building and courtyard with its historical charm was inviting
Where to start? The entranceway was not clear. The security guard was rude and when I allow me to park my car long enough to go and register. Which meant we had stairs to negotiate. We were not informed that you had to request room service. We were promised coffee 24 seven in the breakfast room however when we got up to go to the balloon festival at 2:45 in the morning, there was no coffee. when I called about the fact, there were no coffee I was told would bring it right over. Later in the day when I checked where it was a coffee they said oh we don’t service over there cause it’s too far to carry the craft.
Rich was the very nice but full of empty promises
The continental breakfast was very poor. The frittata were merely store bought egg bites. For all they advertised its was subpar.
There was a hot tub, but it would’ve been nice if they would’ve kept tiles in stock we had to ask for them two mornings
I just feel that despite the balloon festival being imply, their rates were way too high for what we received. When I did complain to the front desk for the girl on staff while she said, I’m so sorry she appeared to be truly un caring.
I would not recommend this hotel unless you got a really good deal
Post stay they attempts to charge my credit card for historical fees and I am still not sure what the other small charges were for.
