Unfortunately there were very few aspects other than staff support. Appreciated the help from the front desk on checkout (thank you sandy). Rooms were clean.
The hotel looked tired. No visible TLC or as Marriott would say it lacked ‘the Marriott touch’. When arriving, the lobby/restaurant had chairs on tables, dark and uninviting. The carpets are long overdue to be changed. To the point where you did not want to walk on them in the rooms. My impression is that Marriott is squeezing the last drop out of its orange with this hotel. The aircon was as old as the hotel … less than 12 inches from the bed and loud when it turned on.

Very clean, staff was super helpful.
Hallway on second floor had a bad smell.. must and a little smokey. Get rid of the carpet.

The room was nice, but I think it needs a door where the sink is.
We had to beg for wash clothes. They didn't even have enough for the number of guests that were on the reservations. We didn't see housekeeping after the first day. There was a smell of mildew. The iron was broken. I tried to contact the front desk, but the phone in the room and it didn't work. There wasn't any linen for the sleeper sofa.
