I booked the airport Marriott for proximity. However, this is the second time that the airport shuttle to terminal other than the adjacent one has not been available, and I have either walked or this time took a taxi. The whole reason I stay at the Marriott at the airport is for proximity, but when the shuttle is not available, it doesn’t justify the cost.
When I checked in the staff told me I could call down in the morning to ALERT that I’d be coming down for the shuttle when I call down the next morning. The receptionist was not very pleasant and told me it was a first come first serve basis. Which I then proceeded downstairs and as I walked out the door, I watched the shuttle leave after dropping off people yet never waited nor stopped for me. I ended up having to take a taxi around to the furthest terminal.
