Holiday Inn Express Lompoc by IHG

Reservation staff was excellent. The first room I was assigned had a foul odor coming from the sink so the staff happily relocated me to a different room that was better. Breakfast staff was excellent. All items were replenished quickly and there was no waiting to choose items Room was clean and everything worked

There seemed to be nefarious characters lurking around the lobby area possibly collecting personal information from guests. One character actually followed me out to my car and hanged around the parking lot. Then he followed me across the street and into a store. I do not know if he was actually staying at the site or not. Also, I had some trouble finding the site coming north on H St. I remembered the sign was much higher and more visible than it is now and, unfortunately, Habit and Wing Stop have moved into a new building which blocks the view of the Holiday Inn from northbound H St. traffic. Plus, during the recent remodel of this site, the pool area has been blocked off from view from the road. The pool area was always a good landmark for this location. I completely missed the turn the first time up H St. and had to double back from the Lompoc Inn and Suites.

Feindly staff, great breakfast, nice pool, comfortable stay

Our comforter and sheets were dirty and stained when we arrived. However, we asked housekepping to replace them and they did

The property is in a good location, close to restaurants and stores. Very clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast was great, pool area was nice, gym has everything I needed to workout.

I think the seating area for breakfast should be a little bigger.

Decent

Same stuff daily
