Comfort Inn & Suites Hadley - Amherst

Everything was as expected. The price was very high.

There was a nail/staple sticking out in the crease where the rug met the bathroom threshold. When I was walking to the bathroom, I stepped on it. You can see it, but you can feel it. It needs to be pounded in.

Location and staff

Breakfast was more than just cereal and bagels, omelet, sausage, waffles, juice and fresh fruits. Hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and friendly.

The location was good and parking available. They offered free water and snacks.

The bed was made and the obvious areas were cleaned but when I first walked in, I opened the refrigerator to put in the water bottle, there was take out food left in there. Also when I showered, there were strands of blond hair on the wall and I have black hair. So they weren’t mine. I called the front desk about the refrigerator and the hotel housekeeping manager came right away and had someone clean the fridge. I saw the hair in the shower the next morning and was leaving that morning so I didn’t even bother reporting the hair. They already knew the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. They should have offered to put me in another room at the first complaint.
