Amazing location with views of palm trees, the beach and ocean. Room was exceptional - large, spotlessly clean with a big comfy bed. Generous amenities - safe, robes, good quality toiletries. Staff were outstanding, particularly Ethan on the front desk who sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary, and concierge Victor who was really helpful. The Fig restaurant is excellent and the breakfasts enormous.
No complaints. A perfect stay.

This property is unbelievable and the staff is amazing. Everything I can say about this hotel is wonders and they deserve every bit of praise because they go above and beyond.
I loved every minute of my stay

Staff were friendly and professional, the building and decor was beautiful with great amenities. An unexpected bonus was the free buffet and Hawaiian luau for residential guests

Fabulous Santa Monica location directly opposite the beach. Fitness Centre was terrific with outdoor area, apples, face wipes, water etc.
I feel for the money / Fairmont reputation, they didn't do the little things so well. Our family room only had one robe and slippers, the water bottle provided had been half drunk presumably by previous room occupants (which was gross as I put it up to my mouth before realising!), the bathroom shower ran both the bath and shower at the same time so water pressure was low, we booked our car to be ready for an early airport start the night before, were told to confirm by text the next morning 10 minutes before which we did but got an automated response saying no-one was manning the valet and turns out valet hadn't booked the car to be returned at all so we ran late waiting for it. Sofa bed for our teenager in the living room area was incredibly squeaky and uncomfortable and we were in an adjoining room with a family with babies - we couldn't hear them from our bedroom area but the walls between the living areas were paper thin so our son could literally hear everything between rooms at all hours..!
