DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Airport

Very comfortable beds. Having a restaurant, bar, and great breakfast included was very convenient.

I didn’t get my cookie when I checked in!

Really liked our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Airport, especially for the price. If you’re driving to New York City and want a quiet, budget-friendly place that feels safe, this is a very good option. You’d struggle to find this price closer to NYC. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great. Check-in and checkout took just a few minutes. Parking was paid but included in/out privileges, and there were plenty of spaces, which isn’t always the case with other hotels in Newark. Overall, a comfortable stay and great value for money!

Breakfast could be better in terms of quality and variety. We had the same menu four days in a row, so some changes would have been nice, but no major complaints there either. The lobby was spotless and the rooms were clean. The hallways could use some renovation, though, as the carpets looked old and there were marks on the walls. Nothing that really affected our stay.

We came after the check in time and the room still wasn’t ready, that was actually not so comfortable after a long flight

Beds and room, staff was friendly and accomodating

Showers were outdated, couches and carpets in the room were stained. Location was difficult to get to at night from Penn Station.
