The entire staff were genuine, helpful and easy going. Each member we met were consistent and always ensured we were taken care of from check in to check out.
Swimming pool was not heated and did not appear to be a salt water pool as advertised. Pool was also slightly dirty with fallen debris.

The location is perfect. The bed was very comfortable
The restaurant is closed in Sunday and Monday. There is nothing provided to make coffee in your room and the the downstairs coffee is not available until 7am.

The Pearl in San Diego has such a charming, retro-chic vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a stylish mid-century getaway. The pool area could have been so great, the staff was friendly, making it easy to relax and feel at home.
The disappointment during our stay was that the hotel hosted a pop-up pool party that completely took over the pool and bar area. The loud music and crowded atmosphere made it difficult to relax and enjoy what is normally one of the property’s best features. It would have been nice if this was communicated before our visit so we had the option of whether we wanted to stay there for that.
