Breakfast was very good. The site is excellent for travelers who like the outdoors. The boardwalk near the ocean is wonderful. We stayed in a his building and the bathroom facilities need upgrading. The building was built in 1918 and I would guess the bathrooms date to the 40’s or 50’s. I call it one step above camping. But the site, location and historic buildings make it worthwhile.
The bathrooms.

Lounge zone, the territory, breakfast
Airplanes are very loud (because of Monterey airport nearby)

The location is unbeatable!
For the cost, you would expect so much more. It’s basically a slight upgrade from camping. The rooms are very rustic, the only true redeemable part of the room is the fireplace. The beds are tiny and you can feel every little movement of your partner.
