We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in North East many times on our way to the Midwest. The hotel is conveniently located for visiting local wineries, the staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are excellent!
We will continue to stop here and have already recommended it to friends.
There is nothing we didn’t like.

The pool area, location is close to where we needed, Bed was comfy, rooms were clean.
There was a $50 hold which some hotels do but I was told by the desk it would take 7 to 14 days for that to return. Check-in took about 10 minutes which seemed long. A steam room was advertised, but there’s no steam room and there was a lot of Scum on the side of the pool that needs cleaned off.

The location to Ithaca and to lots of good restaurants.
Extremely old and run down. Gross rugs in the hallways and in the rooms.
The stairwell was dark and dirty with the rug having weird stains. NO ELEVATOR!! It was just dirty and very run down throughout the whole place.
