Location is definitely an asset, also price quality ratio is satisfactory
Our room had a peeling wallpaper which was a bit disturbing. Additionally, an AC machine was quite loud and pointed directly at one of the bed’s site. The room is also quite small, but I guess it’s normal given the price

When a facilities mishap happened in the bathroom of my original room, the front desk clerk was able to upgrade me to another room, so great service on his part.
The room seemed a bit dated. The bathroom light fixture started leaking water from the room above me which caused me to have to move to another room.

This property is centrally located in the heart of the resort area in Waikiki
The property is old and dated and needs a complete refresh. The general decor is 30 years old and the rooms, while fine and clean, need some reworking ie- not being able to close the cabinet door to where the fridge is unless you physically lift the fridge up and out of the way.
More substantively, I think that the resort needs security in the basement parking area. While parking on multiple different occasions I saw what looked to be an escort/prostitute pickup and dropoff of the same young woman in various states of undress and general dishevelment. The situation felt very off as she quickly rushed to the elevator and the driver kept the car running and stayed in the basement (no parking permit). This happened 3 days in a row at various times of day.
