Wonderful hotel with its own unique charm! The room was very clean and cozy, and the staff was friendly. There’s also a great restaurant and bar downstairs serving good food and drinks!
We also enjoyed exploring the hotel’s basement with mini-museum and old photos, and learning about the history of Baker City and the Gaiser Grand Hotel from the front desk staff.
It’s a fancy-ish hotel but for some reason the rooms still have spring mattresses, which we didn’t find comfortable. But it wasn’t a big deal for us and didn’t take away from an otherwise wonderful stay!

We needed a place to stop on a trip, and I saw pictures of this historic hotel. I love older places that have so much beautiful detail. The room was very spacious and lovely. We had a good breakfast at the saloon. It was also walking distance to some good breweries.

Great location
Aware that it is an old hotel but it really is tired. old fashioned 1980’s rather than classic old. Fridge in the lounge!! Musty smell in room. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it.
