The location the room and the staff
We didn’t get any room cleaning in 3 days and you got your own new towels at reception

The reception area was welcoming and comfortable and the staff were excellent. The location was fine, within easy walking distance to downtown, Chinatown and public transport routes. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options for cafes and restaurants nearby. Although there was no onsite parking (we had a rental car during our stay) offsite parking arrangements were close by and easy to access (bookings were required for these).
The hotel wifi kept dropping out and one of our mobile devices could not connect at all, although I suspect this was due to the age and capability of the phone, rather than the network itself. Also the street noise in early mornings (from municipal workers, rather than revellers) was surprisingly loud, however ear buds were provided which is a thoughtful touch.

"The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to get towels, etc and they answered all questions. They seemed very genuine. The breakfast was good, kind of limited but hot and what there was..."
