Comfort Inn Encinitas Near Legoland

The A/C worked. Bed was ok. Food was ok. Check-in and check-out was easy.

The room is tired and needs a remodel. We had a party of three, and there was no bedding for the sofa bed. The shower valve was plumbed backwards. The cold was scalding hot, and the hot was cold. The cooler in the breakfast room was almost empty of items like milk, and yogurt. The staff spent more time in the back room on their phones than taking care of the guests. The price for water, sodas, and the like in the lobby is an overpriced ripoff.

The staff was really polite, we liked the location since we had different malls, stores and food really near and it was easy to arrive

The room smell a little bit weird

Cleanliness and great food

This is my second time staying here and both times the shower in each of the rooms I stayed in was almost non-operational. The water pressure was so weak that the shower just literally ran in a vertical stream barely coming out. Both times in the two separate rooms it seems like the actual shower handle and the shower head itself are not good equipment and are not in proper operating condition. Also the water temperature was not very hot. The main thing that you were paying for in these Budget hotels are cleanliness and the ability to be able to shower and clean up and a decent bed... I did like the bed.
