Location is very convenient to public transpo and grocery stores. Room is enough to accommodate all of us. The surroundings and building is clean.
I don't like the grumpy young lady in the reception who check us in.

Very helpful and friendly staff; they let me check out late without any hassle. Location is convenient -- bus stop quite nearby, the lake side trails is very close too. There are supermarkets nearby. If you are visiting UChicago or nearby, this is not a bad option.
The room had a ventilation problem -- the AC was working fine but the room smelled damp and musty with some air freshener trying to hide the smell. The building is quite old. The staff surely try to keep it clean but one day I found a small centipede in the bathtub. There is a microwave in the room but no plate or cutlery -- not even a cup.
