Bini at Capitol Hill Hotel was the best thing about our stay! He was informative and pleasant. The location was convenient for walking to The Capitol and other destinations. There were bikes and scooters available on site. We parked on the street while our parents parked in a secured location via the hotel for a $50/night fee. The breakfast was good and plentiful. There were restaurants within walking distance as well. The beds were comfortable; rooms were clean. A day of rain and the hotel had complimentary umbrellas to borrow!
The rooms were small-ish. The bathroom was even smaller. The first morning my outlet worked just fine for my hairdryer and curling iron. The next 2 mornings, the breaker continued to trip, I had to use another outlet in the room and my phone to do my hair. The light for the 'closet' and bathroom are wired together, so the 'closet' light shines in to the room without a way to block it from the sleeping space. The doors for other rooms are close and they SLAM, so can be quite disturbing when sleeping.

Location and it was just a very cute, intimate place to stay. Very charming! The bikes were very fun to use!!!! And there was always a door man there which was nice and made you feel safe & secure, although it seemed like a very safe area to begin with. Would definitely come back!
Didn’t love that it was 2 separate buildings but that wouldn’t make me not stay there again. The hot food at the breakfast needs some help. Everything looks beautiful and the staff were very nice but the eggs were awful, as were the hash browns, sausage and bacon. I think they just need to buy better quality stuff.
