The elegant decor and beautiful appointments were so much fun. We sat in the lobby two times, waiting for our companion. The staff was polite and helpful each time we were at the registration desk. Coffee in the morning was a good touch.
We would have liked help with our bags. We did not know there was no elevator. The car service seemed extremely expensive, so we opted for a cab.

Lovely location, a lot of restaurants and very nice shops are a few steps away, well linked with the subway and buses.
The room - while really tiny - was very curated and cared for. Ortigia toiletries are a plus.
The pillows were lumpy: not firm nor smooth and too warm...
I appreciate that it's an historic landmark but from the description I didn't understand there's no elevator, it might be a problem for someone.

Location
I had to ask three times to have room cleaned. No gym. No elevator. Second floor about to renovated and needs it. Rooms have really noisy AC and thin walls.
