Great location. Lovely hotel. Great meals.
9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
It was very centrally located; I could walk to most of the attractions. The décor of the lobby is stylish and comfortable. The courtyard is quiet and good to enjoy coffee or tea. Incidently, the hotel provides complimentary hot English breakfast tea with fresh milk and coffee – to provide hot tea in US for me was a pleasant surprise. People at the reception were very pleasant and attentive to requests. The door person is not demanding and very courteous. I would book it again as I found Washington DC to be very clean and well decorated city with flower decorated sidewalks.
The only issue is the high parking fee.

6 / 10Average·Oct 2026
The location was excellent because the metro was easy to access and very close, and the surroundings were really beautiful. The room was spacious and had a nice historical feel.
However, the cleanliness was not up to standard as we found dirty underwear in the bedroom. When I called reception, they were understanding and moved us to another room, offering us free breakfast as compensation. Even though the staff were helpful and kind, I believe the hotel should improve its room inspection and cleaning standards.
