Terracana Ranch Resort

Absolutely cracking location - not sure I realised when booking that the cabins were multi-user cabins, as in you get an individual part of one large cabin rather than your own small one but made no difference to our stay personally. Super rustic, super cosy and comfortable in a beautiful location, I wish we had stayed here for more than one night. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend.

If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to enhance the comfort of the sofa bed with a mattress topper and a complete set of comforters and pillow when are guests arriving that will use it to sleep

Beautiful location, well maintained grounds, wonderful view. Nice and quiet. Easy to get to. Location is excellent for visiting Mt Robson. Many hiking trails within a short drive.

Beds were a bit hard for my liking.

Beautiful location with views over river and mountains with space, wildlife and a private river beach. Full of character and homely. Staff very helpful. Special mention to Josh who went the extra mile on every occasion to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The guides in the cabin provide phone numbers in case of an out of hours problem. One was unrelated to the accommodation (an advertising company?) and the other went to answerphone and was not responded to. There was no information at reception on the door about who to contact. This has been highlighted in previous reviews and not acted on. See image. We were to knock on the resident staff door apparently -and staff residence was marked on a map- but we weren’t advised accordingly. It should be made clear. We used two electrical items in the cabin simultaneously and tripped the electricity but couldn’t find the fuseboard-it wasn’t in the cabin so we couldn’t sort it ourselves. The other significant issue is the septic tank waste system. The flush is low volume and the system blocks easily. Our toilet blocked and there was an ancient plunger that had lost its elasticity so wasn’t very much use. There should be clear signage in every bathroom explaining the system and advising guests simply to hold the flush for a count on every occasion, repeat flush as required and limit paper use. Such signage was clearly displayed in subsequent places we visited and it should be here. Mosquitos in abundance. Screen on was window great but there were no screens on doors.
