This is a very old property with some interesting features . The host was welcoming and helpful. Our Queen bed was comfy and the room furnished and decorated to good standard as was the ensuite bathroom . Overall a comfy if somewhat quirky place to stay .
There is quite a lot of clutter and construction equipment around the house that detracts a bit from the attractiveness of staying in this lovely house .
I wasn’t keen on the prepared plate breakfast . Though quality of the food and fruit was ok I’d have liked a bit of choice being offered .

The host is fabulous as is the amazing breakfast. Comfortable room, not fancy but comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in our room.
Because of construction equipment around the house, it didn't look open. There aren't gathering spaces like a parlor or outdoor seating other than the dining room (which is beautiful). WiFi was hit or miss. Basic linens and toiletry items.

"The host is so friendly. He explained the history of the house. The room is very comfortable, and really clean. The breakfast was amazing: high-quality food. Referenced by Prestige restaurant nearby. ..."
