We had a great experience staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South. One of the biggest highlights was the size of the room. It was spacious, comfortable, and provided plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped.
The complimentary breakfast was another major plus, offering a great way to start the day before heading out to explore. Having breakfast included made the stay even better and added excellent value.
The location was also very convenient, especially for visiting Disneyland and other Anaheim attractions. It made getting around easy while providing a comfortable place to return to after a busy day.
Overall, this hotel offers a great combination of spacious accommodations, a quality included breakfast, and a convenient location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Anaheim area, especially families or travelers looking for comfort and good value.
Unfortunately, the condition of the pool was a major disappointment during our stay. The pool area did not appear to be regularly or properly cleaned, and the overall condition was pretty gross. There were clumps of hair floating in the water and accumulated around the edges of the pool, while the water itself looked cloudy and murky rather than clean and inviting. There were also wet, discarded towels left lying around the area, adding to the impression that the pool was not being properly maintained.
For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better attention to cleanliness and upkeep, especially in an area where guests are swimming and relaxing. The condition of the pool made me question its overall cleanliness and whether it was being adequately maintained throughout the day.
While the spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast, and convenient location were positives, the pool experience was genuinely disappointing. Management really needs to pay closer attention to pool maintenance, water clarity, and keeping the surrounding area clean and presentable. A hotel can offer great amenities, but those amenities need to be properly maintained for guests to enjoy them.

The breakfast lobby is gorgeous and it has a nice variety of different food. The rooms are really nice. The bed is comfy. My husband and I came on our honeymoon. it is also super close to Disney.!
I guess the elevators were a little slow but it’s not a serious issue

The breakfast
Elevator down, so long waits for one operational elevator, or stairs. The atrium closed after breakfast so nowhere to sit or lounge. No housekeeping service provided on our first day so after a long day at the theme parks, we returned to overflowing waste, baskets, dirty, and wet towels on the bathroom floor and breakfast dishes in our suite that had never been removed. The room view was of a gravel rooftop so we didn’t open our curtains, and when it poured down rain, there were no ponchos to purchase for use outdoors, or at the theme parks. We did not receive Hilton Honors points since the trip was booked through Booking.com, and it was impossible to park or get into the property because it’s located in and amongst five other hotels and is not on the street, so driving around in the dark, looking for it with a confused GPS was challenging.
