The B&B was clean and full of character, with eclectic, charming decor that added to its appeal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The traditional skeleton keys were a lovely touch, although a bit tricky to use.
Unfortunately, the bed wasn't particularly comfortable, and the room became quite chilly during the night, which affected the quality of sleep.

The location and the breakfast were amazing. There are only 3 tables for breakfasts, so you will most likely chat with other travellers during breakfasts, whch is super nice.
We also got a free upgrade, which was a nice surprise, thank you!
The staff working there is super nice too. We havent met Marketa herself (such a shame as I speak Czech), but every staff member was super energetic and service-oriented!
The price might push some people away for some cheaper places, but given that you you have delicious breakfast and you can walk everywhere; the port for float planes is just around the corner and the bus to the Butchart gardens is nearby too, I think it is worth every penny.

Our room and furnishings were old but charming and very clean! Even the hard to reach chandeliers were sparkling! Breakfast with varied menu is great!
A lot of steep stairs but expected in a 3 story heritage building. Limited parking in back.

Loved the house, so clean and the bed was very comfy. We only had a short 24 hour stay, but it was exactly what we needed and wished we could have stayed longer.
