Everything! It has character, is very comfortable and is very convenient for Gastown and along the seafront to Stanley Park. After staying in “normal” hotels since we arrived in Canada, O Canada House was a very special and unique place to stay in Vancouver and I would recommend it to anyone

Great B&B to explore downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff.
Parts of the room might need a bit of a refresh soon, start to look a bit tired.

Very idiosyncratic. In a city full of skyscrapers it was like a haven of old world to come back to.
The pantry was an excellent idea so could help ones self to tea and coffee and soft drinks plus sit in the comfort of the lounge
Nothing to mention

The house is in a great location and the staff we met were really nice.
It's obviously an old house and they want to keep it looking a certain way but I think it could benefit from some refreshment. The carpet is heavily worn and stained, the back of the sink is being held together with painters tape and a plastic bag, there's a very old fan in the room that does nothing to help the heat when it's 30 degrees outside. I understand air con can't be installed but there are definitely newer better fans available. It was £250 a might mid week so I would expect a little better than it was.
