Okay, I LOVED my stay here. It’s my second time in Vancouver and I was meant to stay here three years ago, but… a fire happened. On the bright side, everything is shiny and new. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm, which was comfortable with plenty of space to move around and store larger suitcases. There was almost enough bathrooms and showers, just maybe not at peak morning times.
Breakfast was great and free! There’s free activities - which, in case you are wondering based on the location and experiences at other hostels - are actually NOT just based on drinking. They’re morning hiking activities, great for meeting other people. Met people to go to a hockey game with. Or dinner. Or just hang out. Lovely hostel and definitely has better vibes than a certain other highly rated hostel which was just… boring.
As more of a nighttime shower person, the bathrooms could do with a better clean at night. The toilets are all same-sex toilets, but that doesn’t give men the magical ability to aim better. The cleaning times weren’t as accurate as stated either, which meant I had to go down to another floor to shower even though I waited until the cleaning time on my floor had passed… only for them to then clean on the floor I was on. Beds aren’t the most comfortable for chilling as the lower bunk doesn’t allow you to sit upright, but that’s probably a plus so people actually don’t just hang out in there. Common area could do with more comfortable seating.

This hostel has a great location, instructions to check in and out are clear and the have a friendly staff also It's clean and secure.
Good price.
Beds are comfortable but so noisy, all doors close so hard also secure cases or lockers are noisy as well ,so everything someone try to open you will wake up. My recomendation it's to bring your own ear plugs.

Free breakfast is good.
Mixed coed in a small bedroom. With bunkbeds and 8 people inside. Not good for people with disability or older age. You need to use several steps of stairs before reaching the 1st floor. My reservation is for 3 days. And no refund policy.
