Colonial House Motor Inn

Cleanliness

Friendly

Very friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in, very comfortable bed, quiet despite being directly at the highway.

room had a slight cigarette smell, I'm assuming people smoke right in front of the room and some of the smoke drifts inside.

Not old.

TV had no signal. Didn't know how to link it to a cell phone.

The rooms were clean and affordable.

The staff/customer service was atrocious. I reserved two rooms. One with a queen bed and a sofa and one with two doubles. None of those beds were true to size and I did not get a sofa, I got a tiny loveseat. When we enquired about a cot or extra blankets/sheets we were flatly denied and rudely told the booking said it was not a pull out sofa. We agreed, but it clearly said SOFA. A loveseat is radically smaller than a sofa. Even so, my daughter still attempted to sleep on it and we were abruptly refused extra sheets/towels/blankets/etc. When I booked, I clearly told them how many people we had in our party, and their ages, and I paid the extra fees for having an extra person, yet were refused the services that those fees provided. Also, they double booked my room and some obnoxious woman kept coming to my room telling me it was hers. I didn’t engage with her, but because of their mistake, she would NOT leave me alone.
