Had an early flight the next morning so we just wanted bed for the night
The room had a very strong air freshener or disinfectant smell and I have some chemical sensitivities and this bothered me

Decent parking, great customer service and a comfortable room.

Most of the things were better than expected. Big room with extra sofa and desk to work, all facilities including big fridge and microwave.
Very helpful and nice staff.

The location is the biggest draw for this hotel plus the very affordable price especially if you're not doing a lot of sightseeing and just need somewhere quick to stay for an overnight or 2 nights max. It's a 10min drive from Newark Airport. Additionally, there is a restaurant in the lobby and considering it's a airport hotel, the prices are pretty reasonable.
This hotel has seen better days. The exterior looks quite nice/normal but then you walk inside. The check-in counter is behind glass, which always feels suspect. The lobby isn't terrible but it looks like it hasn't been updated since the mid-90s. Likewise, the rooms are clean, but a little dated looking.
