This was my favorite stay of my Canadian Rockies trip! The resort is tucked into the forest along the Bow Valley Parkway, between Banff and Lake Louise, so it feels worlds away from the busier tourist spots. There are of course mountain views all around. And Baker Creek rushes right through the property, with outdoor fire pits and red Adirondack chairs to soak it all in. There’s also a sauna and a little cafe shop with some hot and cold food items.
My room had a Jacuzzi tub, a comfy bed, a gas fireplace and a private balcony. There are also lots of great touches throughout the stay, like binoculars waiting on the fireplace and an option to pick a bath bomb for your tub as you check in. Eating a breakfast burrito and drinking a “Canadiano” by the river as the sun came up was a dream.
My only regret is only getting to stay one night!

Fully equipped kitchen is always a plus for people like to prepare meals for themselves. Very spacious, very cozy. Staff are very nice.
The only downside is they do not have phone in the room. In case you want to talk to the front desk, you have to walk all the way to it.
