Location, price, value, being on the 1st floor. The fridge, the microwave
No ice, cheap with towels, we had 2 asked for 2 and they wanted the 2 back we didnt use yet bc they felt 2 was enough for a 2 stay stay 4 2 ppl. And no ice machine. No facilites, no room to get buy on one side of the bed, the BBQ outside was to dirty to use, the chairvin the room was dirty needs shampooed

We booked 3 other hotels during our trek through Ontario, and this one had the biggest, brightest bathroom of them all. The fellow who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Having the cooking facilities was very welcome and made our stay much more comfortable. Great place for the price, and no unhappy surprises!
Maybe simpler TV functionality, but all 3 of the other places I stayed at (4 including this one) had this issue (some others were worse). Having YouTube available was nice though.

I was never offered breakfast there, but even if it had been offered, I'm not sure I would have accepted. Still, the manager was a good man. Whenever I asked for something, he was very cooperative, and he didn't allow anyone to smoke inside. I arrived earlier than expected, but he was helpful. At first, he tried to charge me for an extra day, but when I told him I would wait, he fortunately didn't make me wait long and helped me check in early.
As I entered, there was a damp smell. It wasn't cold outside, but the air conditioner kicked on every two minutes, making it colder inside than I expected. There was a constant dripping in the bathroom. The strangest thing was that the manager asked for $100 CAD in cash as a security deposit, or for me to leave my credit card details with him. I declined, but he didn't insist. A girl came up to me and offered her services for $100 CAD for 30 minutes, telling me she had a room on the first floor. I felt sorry for her.
