The Canadian Princess Lodge is a beautiful historic 46-room lodge and 250 ft marina. It is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Ucluelet, which is straddled between the famous Pacific Rim and the iconic Broken Islands.

Location is very central and easy to access all restaurants and attractions. Check in was very good; staff was efficient and friendly and they accommodated a booking problem with had with having to cancel a night due to a medical issue. It was most appreciated and they gave us a lovely suite overlooking the marina. Room contained a MW, fridge coffee maker.
We had a loft suite which was great; however, it meant coming down the stairs to use the one bathroom in the middle of the night.

Location excellent and close to nice restaurants, hiking and biking. Convenient for visiting Long Beach.
A little run down and somehow not quite clean. Quirky room layout and no elevator to get to 2nd floor with heavy luggage. Front office staff could do with some socialization. Efficient but cold and distant.

Pleasant location, balcony to sit on, easy access to walking trails.
Could benefit from offering some form of breakfast. Clerks at reception were not very affable…smiles are free folks!
