The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located to several restaurants and Walmart. We enjoyed the gym too.
Staff didn't seem happy to be there, and it was so obvious that it affected customer relations. The woman at the front desk never smiled and didn't make eye contact as she helped us. It felt like we were an inconvenience to her day. The next day there was a male at the front desk and he seemed very customer-focused and happy to be there. The happy hour was kind of a joke too...no one was there to service guests. If you waited long enough, someone would come around to help. We decided to go elsewhere.
Also, it was stated that there was room service only every other day. That was fine, but on our second full day (it was a Sunday which we understand is a very busy day for housekeeping) we got no room service. We went to the front desk for fresh towels around 4 pm, and eventually housekeeping came to the room to refresh the coffee for us. Housekeeping was friendly and very apologetic.
