For our first trip to Yosemite, only staying two nights, with 2 little kids, it provided us a beautiful family resort with amenities, and close to the entrance to easily spend a few hours in the morning exploring the valley floor to be back in time for naps and pool-time. It’s not the most outdoorsy experience, but exactly what we were looking for to enjoy a weekend with our kids.
Friendly staff, good food, amenities, indoor and outdoor pool.

The Hotal Location
We were not notified that we could not leave the doog in the room. "Pet Friendly" I have not had the problem in other Pet Friendly Hotels.

The location is very good for a Yosemite visit. Roughly 3 miles to the south entrance.
The resort is built very nice and technically there are lots of nice amenities. It’s nice to relax after a visit in Yosemite. If everything is as promised it can be a very nice resort. Liked the lodge style.
The service is not good, especially in the restaurant. No refills, never got asked for food intolerance. Took forever to order. When the pool bar was closed they installed a telephone to order, but still had to go inside and then got the feedback that they don’t do virgin cocktails which I got the day before.
Multiple hot tubs were closed, as well as other amenities. So couldn’t use them.
AC unit very old and loud.
Bed uncomfortable, could get a new mattress…
