Well maintained, well equipped, and lovely unit in a very safe area. I felt at ease and secure, able to focus on the trip to the Channel Islands that my family came for. Our arrival was beyond the normal office hours, but the staff was communicative and accommodating, and we were able to check in according to their late hours protocol without issue. Beautifully close to the beach, and all amenities and attractions. A short drive, or a 30 minute-ish walk if preferred to most restaurants. Having a well equipped kitchen made for a much more enjoyable stay, it was functional and satisfactory.
A slightly thicker or newer mattress in the fold out couch would be an improvement. It was still comfortable enough to sleep on, simply less comfortable than the traditional king sized bed. That may however just be the nature of a pull out bed.

The rooms were too hot. AC was set to 80 degrees which was very hot for this time of the year, especially with the current heatwave. At one point, the rooms hit 84 degrees. They did provide us with fans though, and those helped a bit. I think 75 degrees would have been ideal.

The location is awesome and the neighborhood is quiet, minus the very noisy neighbor we had downstairs (on their first night's stay). I liked that there was a designated quiet time policy for the neighborhood.
The unit we stayed at is very outdated and desperately needs an upgrade. The pictures shown are of an updated unit and it was not a truthful representation of the property. The windows in the entire unit needs an upgrade to reduce noise, but especially the window/blinds in the bedroom. The blinds do not close all the way and let in quite a bit of light, whether it be lights on the property at night, or sunlight in the morning. The bathroom hardware is really old, and so is the mattress in the bedroom.
