Great place to be, and the restaurant setting was exceptionally neat and welcoming. The staff were outstanding and demonstrated genuine hospitality throughout my stay.
Naval, the Front Office Manager, treated guests with remarkable courtesy. He was extremely helpful and even offered me a complimentary breakfast, which I truly appreciated.
Kissy, the Guest Service Agent, is simply full of light and smiles. She has a warm, healing smile that immediately gives you the feeling of being at home. In fact, her smile alone could probably cure someone suffering from an acute headache!
MJ, the Valet Parking Manager, is in a class of his own. While I was outside the hotel, I heard several guests telling him that he was one of the reasons they continued returning to the hotel. He gives everyone VIP treatment, regardless of who they are. He constantly ensures that his team assists guests with opening and closing their car doors and makes every visitor feel genuinely welcomed almost like saying, “Welcome home.”
The hotel security team was also excellent, professional, alert, and ready to assist. In fact, every member of staff I encountered appeared willing and prepared to help.
The management of Courtland Grand Hotel deserves commendation for assembling such an exceptional group of employees with beautiful characters and attitudes toward service.
I always tell my employees that what truly drives sustainable business growth is not only hard work, but CHARACTER. In my assessment, hard work may account for 20% of success in the workplace, while CHARACTER accounts for the remaining 80%. A hardworking person with a terrible character can damage relationships, destroy customer confidence, and ultimately bring a business down.
Courtland Grand Hotel has demonstrated that excellent facilities are important, but exceptional people make the real difference.

This hotel was an unexpected treat. This was my first time in Atlanta. I wanted an affordable hotel in downtown Atlanta. I chose a gem. The Courtland Grand Hotel was a wonderful place to experience. The hotel is beautiful. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The breakfast servers were amazing. The pool area was beautiful. The restaurant/bar served the most delicious meals. The bartender/waiter was so kind and attentive to all of his customers. I couldn’t wait until my next meal. I traveled alone yet I felt safe because the security team was on the ball. They were welcoming and made me feel safe. This hotel made my first stay in Atlanta a wonderful experience! I will most definitely stay there again when I have the chance to visit this amazing city in the future.
I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Clean, beautiful, large room, staff, convenience to my conference, and outstanding staff - valet, front desk, food service, housekeeping - everyone was a joy to interact with.
Not the hotel's fault, but there was street racing outside the hotel between 1 & 2 am, Saturday morning. That woke several people up, but it did just last an hour.

The pool and pool side rooms were great.
Poor customer service. Alot of hidden fees. Ridiculous wait times for valet for $60 a day. Not handicap friendly.
