The property is set in a majestic northern tapestry. The grounds at the property are landscaped beautifully, outdoors kept very clean. The property is relatively easy to navigate.
It appears like some areas of the property get more attention than others. The main building seems to be priority while the extended Paignton House rooms do not receive the same level of service. During our stay, the pool heater broke down along with the hot tub jets, unfortunately was not fixed by the time we departed, which was a disappointment considering that we were paying for these amenities (absolutely no thought to compensating any of the guests from management team).

Our room was wonderfully comfortable, with a fireplace, a private terrace, and sweeping views. A truly unique experience! Check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly. The facilities are excellent: we especially enjoyed relaxing in the lobby and playing games there, and the hotel offers a great variety of activities to keep guests entertained. The surrounding area is so beautiful too.
Our only suggestion would be to improve service at the lobby restaurant, as waiting times were quite long.
