The staff was very accommodating when we asked to change rooms. I realize that the motel is being renovated and is a work in process -- so we took that into consideration. When the renovation is completed I am sure it would have received a better rating from us. We wish the new owners well and will check it out again when we are in the area.
The room that was assigned to us first was not completely finished in the remodeling process, so they were accommodating and gave us another room -- but still a work in progress. Cleanliness in the stairwells and hallways could certainly stand a better vacuuming job. Now being a family owned business, the potential is certainly there once the remodeling job is done.
