The location was great. It was walking distance from Parliament and the Rideau Canal. Ottawa City Hall was a block away, along with Confederation Park. The staff were friendly and helpful- they get a 10 for that. The neighborhood was vibrant and there were nearby restaurants on Elgin Street - Al's Steakhouse stands out as one of the best. There was a dog park that we could walk our Shiba Inu to every evening. The rooms were spacious suites and would be well equipped for longer stays. Paid Parking is in the back or in the basement. The total is added to your bill.
The only thing that wasn't great was that the infrastructure of the Hotel is aging. The second time we stayed there, our room was noisy - we were on the top floor and there was substantial noise from motors or AC - possibly on the rooftop.

Very clean room, space was very good. In room kitchen was a plus. Property was well maintained and the staff were great.
WIFI was painfully slow, parking was expensive but par for the course in the area.

It was fine. The beds were comfortable. The location is good and quiet.
When we arrived, there was no receptionist in sight and we had to wait at least 10 minutes for her to return. We were in a real hurry to get somewhere and there was nobody else in the hotel who could help. For this price one would expect a few more staff members. Also $30 for outdoor open access guest parking is ridiculously overpriced!

Great central location to lots of restos and bars
The cleanliness of the shower grout wasn't good and utensil drawer and dishes smelled and looked gross. The coffee wasn't good either. Upon first glance it was fine but then I started to notice it wasn't very clean. The sheets were new but they didn't wash the mattress cover from the previous guest. Not very clean.
