About this house rental
The "La Vida" vacation home is situated in a quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac in the idyllic coastal town of Kronsgaard—just 800 m from the picturesque Baltic Sea beach, which also features a large section designated for dogs. With 76 m² of living space and a 446 m² lot featuring a garden and natural hedges, this single-story home comfortably accommodates up to 4 people. A carport with a storage room and a covered patio for cozy outdoor dining round out the outdoor area. Dogs are welcome.
The living-dining area, completely renovated in 2017, features a fireplace that provides cozy warmth throughout the house on cool days—ideal for cozy game nights with a glass of wine or beer. New, low-maintenance flooring, a comfortable sofa set, a Loom armchair, and a spacious, bright dining area invite you to relax and enjoy meals together. In the morning, the kitchen is especially bathed in sunlight, offering the perfect start to the day. A TV and free Wi-Fi provide additional entertainment.
In the master bedroom, a new solid-wood bed (180 x 200 cm) with comfortable mattresses ensures a restful night’s sleep, while blackout pleated blinds and insect-screen windows guarantee undisturbed nights. The second bedroom features a comfortable sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) for additional guests.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, and a washing machine is also available. The modernized bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower with a rain shower system, an adjustable hand-held showerhead, a “Cool-Touch” thermostat, and non-slip floor tiles.
A stroll along the beach takes you past beautiful spots, cozy cafés, and small attractions. The area around Kronsgaard is characterized by rolling hills, fields, and hedgerows, making it ideal for long bike rides. Just a stone’s throw away lies the beautiful port town of Kappeln, with fresh fish, good restaurants, and occasional market days; the nearby Oehe Estate is also worth a stroll. The Schlei and the Geltinger Birk Nature Reserve—a true bird paradise with wild Konik horses and Scottish Highland cattle, as well as numerous circular hiking trails—delight nature lovers. If you’d like, you can also reach Flensburg in no time via the famous Rote Straße. In the summer, the sea is perfect for swimming. The region’s natural beauty is simply breathtaking.
