About this villa rental
In this corner of Tuscany, the choice is usually a compromise: a convenient village apartment without outdoor space, or a secluded farmhouse where even buying bread means driving. Villa San Casciano offers both space and privacy, a 10–15-minute walk from the village centre. Park on arrival and only use your car for excursions. Nothing is shared: the villa, garden and pool are exclusively yours.
Built in 2022 from local stone, it is a rarity in an area with strict landscape protection rules. Its 203 m² span two floors: two bedrooms with queen-size beds, a third with a sofa bed for two, and three bathrooms, sleeping up to 6 guests. Spacious living room with Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso machine, terrace with private balcony. Air conditioning in the living room and all bedrooms, heating throughout, and Wi-Fi indoors.
A private 1,000 m² garden and a small stone pool (6 × 2 m) with sun loungers, open May–October. The pool is covered the rest of the year, when the free thermal pools, warm year-round, become the perfect pool for a winter stay.
On foot: the medieval village with bars, shops and a pharmacy, and the free thermal pools at Bagno Grande.
By car: Celle sul Rigo (a few minutes), Pienza and the UNESCO-listed Val d'Orcia (40 min), Montepulciano's Vino Nobile wineries (45 min), Siena (1 hour).
